Following the 2025 edition, which was dedicated to new concepts, technologies, and hot topics in
abdominal wall surgery, the 2026 edition proposes a more integrated evolution: from technique to
strategy, from the individual procedure to the patient pathway, and from defect repair to the
management of the complex patient. The common thread will be “Right patient, right setting, right
technique, right team.” The goal is to discuss not only “how” to operate, but above all when, where,
with which approach, with what level of expertise, and within which organizational pathway.
