Current Status of Liver Surgery for Non-Colorectal Non-Neuroendocrine Liver Metastases
CURRENT STATUS OF LIVER SURGERY FOR NON-COLORECTAL NON-NEUROENDOCRINE LIVER METASTASES: A SICE (Italian Society of Endoscopic Surgery and new technologies) – ACIE (Association of Italian Surgeons in Europe) COLLABORATIVE SURVEY
Despite the growing number of liver resections performed for NCNNLM (non-colorectal non-neuroendocrine liver metastases) nowadays, the role of surgery is still unclear, and the ideal treatment of choice for this heterogeneous group of liver malignancy is still debated. International guidelines and a specific consensus in this field are desirable to offer the best available therapy for these patients. By documenting how many patients in this large group undergo surgery and their outcomes, we want to investigate whether progress and advance have occurred during the last decades in the diagnosis, surgical approaches, oncology and locoregional therapies. The survey consists of 37 items divided into six areas. The estimated time to complete the survey is 15 minutes.
TWO RESPONDENTS from each center will be listed as CO-AUTHORS in the final publication. The deadline for answering the questionnaire is NOVEMBER 30th, 2022.
